International Speaker Webinar Series
What is this training about?
Many of you have attended our International Childhood Trauma Conferences and International Speaker Tours over the past 20 years. If you have, you know that we have had the opportunity to hear from leading experts in the fields of attachment, trauma, and therapeutic interventions. These have included Dan Siegel, Pat Ogden, Dan Hughes, Cathy Malchiodi, Allan Schore, Ed Tronick, Sue Carter, Steve Porges, Bessel van der Kolk, Gabor Mate, Judy Atkinson, Kim Goulding, Peter Fonagy, Helen Milroy and many more.
Starting in April 2020, we have organised live one on one online interviews between Dr Joe Tucci – our CEO – and many of these wonderful speakers. They will cover a range of themes and issues relevant to their field of practice and research. The webinars will invite questions from participants and promise to be informative and entertaining.
You will hear about their most up to date thinking and ideas. You can register to watch as it happens or view the webinar as a recording after it is over and at a time that is suitable for you.
The webinars that have been organised are listed below. More will come online as the details are finalised. It is a wonderful professional development opportunity to hear from the world’s most influential thinkers and practitioners at a super affordable price.
What will you learn?
By attending these webinars, you will:
- Understand a summary of the speaker’s approach and/or theory so you can apply it in your practice
- Explore themes that are relevant to human relationships, therapeutic processes and the ways in which individuals heal from trauma
- Gan an insight into the experiences of each speaker and how they influenced the evolution of their thinking and approaches
- Hear the most up to date considerations of each speaker in the broader context of their community
What difference will this make to your practice?
You can refresh your own understanding of the knowledge base associated with our field. You will come away with new perspectives and hear from the originators of specific models about why and how their approach evolved in the ways that they did. You will pick up practical strategies that you can apply in your practice no matter the context you work in.
