The Australian Childhood Foundation provides a range of innovative therapeutic services including trauma counselling services for children, young people and their families who have experienced abuse and family violence, sexually abusive treatment programs for children and young people, and therapeutic models of foster, residential and kinship care across Australia.

The Opportunity:

The Foundation is currently looking for an Internal Systems Support Administrator, to join our head office in Abbotsford, on a permanent full time basis.

The role will support the Internal Systems Support Officer and Internal Systems Support Manager in the planning, organisation, direction and ongoing review of all facilities, fleet, internal facing administrative and customer service operations across the foundation. In addition to this, the role will support the daily needs of the office, including:

  • Picking up and sending the daily mail
  • General tidying/cleaning up
  • Ensuring the coffee machines, photocopiers and other machines work properly and are maintained
  • Booking and ordering catering for meetings
  • Ensuring that IT issues are attended to immediately and resolved
  • Signing for deliveries

About You: Key Selection Criteria:

  • Relevant experience in a similar role relating to Infrastructure, Procurement and/or Administration.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with ability to implement creative solutions.
  • Advanced computer skills with extensive experience in Microsoft suite of products and relevant software applications.
  • Sound interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent time management skills, including capacity to prioritise workload.
  • Demonstrated commitment to a learning culture and continuous improvement.
  • Demonstrated capacity to establish and maintain effective relationships/partnerships with key stakeholders, both internally and externally.
  • Demonstrated ability to work flexibly and responsively in a dynamic environment.
  • A current driver’s license or equivalent
  • A current and valid Working with Children Check and National Police Records Clearance

Preferred Skills & Attributes:

  • Previous employment in the not-for-profit sector.
  • Capacity to work creatively and independently.
  • Personal values consistent with the values of the organisation.
  • Familiarity with a range of financial and other relevant software.
  • Ability to resolve issues and conflicts with logical and sustainable approach.
