Using organisational Codes of Conduct to keep Children Safe
What is this training about?
It is clear that a Code of Conduct is an important part of a Child Safe Organisation. However, what makes a good Code of Conduct? The Code of Conduct needs to cover many areas and expectations of staff but also should have the clarity that makes it practical and useful.
This interactive virtual classroom will help participants to consider core elements of a Code of Conduct that ensure children’s safety. It is helpful if you are able to have your organisation’s Code of Conduct with you when you attend this session.
What will you learn?
By attending this training, you will:
- Explore the critical elements of an effective Code of Conduct
- Review the connections between a Code of Conduct and child safety and wellbeing
- Analyse your organisation’s Code of Conduct to identify areas of strength and areas for improvement.
