Trauma Informed Practice Professional Learning Program – Tasmania

Trauma Informed Practice Professional Learning Program – Tasmania

Introduction

The Trauma Informed Practice in Schools Professional Learning Program builds on the online foundational course which continues to be available in Canvas for all staff in Tasmanian Government schools. There are currently 4 workshop topics that are available as face-to-face sessions around Tasmania and in virtual classrooms (online).
The program is underpinned by an existing ACF education program, Making SPACE for Learning which is a resource for schools to better understand, respond and meet the needs of children who have experienced trauma.

A brief summary of the program and workshops is available Here Trauma Informed Practice in Schools
