Bringing up Great Kids Facilitator Training- DET SRF

Learn how to facilitate the Bringing Up Great Kids Program for parents, including the evidence it draws on, its underpinning framework and the tools it uses. Essential for would be facilitators.

This practical one day workshop provides participants with the opportunity to learn how to successfully establish and run the ‘Bringing Up Great Kids Parenting Program’.

It is the prerequisite level of training for individual professionals to be able to have access to the ‘Bringing Up Great Kids Parenting Program’ and become a registered facilitator.  All registered facilitators will receive access to the ‘Bringing Up Great Kids Parenting Program’ manual, relevant activities and resources within the registration cost of the workshop.

This workshop is run by experienced parenting practitioners with hands on experience in implementing the ‘Bringing Up Great Kids Parenting Program’.

Detailed Costs:
$297.00 per person, per session. Registrations require payment in order to confirm your place in the workshop. If payment is made by credit card at registration your place is guaranteed in the workshop you have registered for; if you pay by invoice you have a tentative registration until payment is received. All invoices MUST be paid for prior to the workshop date. NB: If the workshop becomes fully booked before your payment is made, your tentative booking will be cancelled.

This training is suitable for all professionals working with parents in either an individual or group context.  While the program focuses on primary aged children, it can be adapted for infants and adolescents.

On completion of this program, participants will be able to:

• Identify the key concepts and phases of the Bringing Up Great Kids Parenting Program
• Know how to set up program criteria for specific members of their parenting community
• Be able to effectively implement the program and its activities
• Learn how to adapt the program to meet the specific needs of the parents that it is being used with
• Know how to use it with individual parents and parent groups
• nderstand how to evaluate the program and its outcomes
