Tools for Seeking and Integrating Children’s Voices in Service Design and delivery

Gain access to and learn how to use new tools developed exclusively by the Australian Childhood Foundation to incorporate feedback from children and young people in service and impact evaluation.

There is increasing pressure on all services to evaluate the effectiveness of their services, seek out consumer feedback and ensure that service provision consistently meets the needs of service users.  However, because of their developmental vulnerability, children and young people are often overlooked in these processes with their participation considered not as relevant or difficult to facilitate.  The Australian Childhood Foundation is committed to children’s rights and continues to place children at the centre of all of their services.  This commitment has been demonstrated through the development and implementation of an innovative feedback tool for children who are service users.
This workshop introduces and explores core concepts of engaging children in feedback and evaluative processes. It specifically will examine the new Feedback Tool that has been developed by the Australian Childhood Foundation, including how to use it and incorporate its data into meaningful processes of analysis and service design.

The cost of the workshop includes the purchase and licensing of the Children’s Feedback Tool. Participants will be able to use the tool immediately in their service.
