Online Course Terms and Conditions

Fees

Fees for online training are payable prior to commencing the course.

Training tailored to your organisation is subject to the terms and conditions outlined in the training agreement.

Registration

If relevant to the selected course, the Australian Childhood Foundation requires full payment of fees for online training prior to commencing the selected course.  A tax receipt will be issued for all payments.

Payment assumes registration into the selected course and no refunds will be issued, unless there is a technical fault from the Australian Childhood Foundation’s systems and platforms.

Course Cancellation

If the Australian Childhood Foundation is required to cancel a course, all Registered Participants will be notified and have the following options:

  1. a) the Registered Participant will receive a full refund, or
  2. b) the Registered Participant may elect to transfer his or her registration to another available online course being offered within a 6 month period from cancellation that is of equal value.

Cancellation by you

Once you have registered into an online training course it is assumed you have accepted that cancellations will not receive a refund.  Your registration remains active for 6 – 12 months depending on the course so you can return to complete the course at a later stage as preferred.

Transferability of Registrations

No transferability of registration is accepted for online courses.

Liability

The Australian Childhood Foundation is not liable for any losses or incidental costs incurred as a result of registration into an online course.

Accredited Course/Qualification cancellation

Cancellation policies for accredited courses/qualifications facilitated by the Australian Childhood Foundation differ from those outlined above for other online courses.
Cancellation policies for accredited courses/qualifications are available in additional course material documents provided to students.

Australian Psychological Society CPD hours

As of the 31 October 2011, The Australian Psychological Society ceased to accept applications for endorsement of continuing professional development (CPD) activities. APS Members can accrue CPD hours by participating in activities they determine to be relevant to their individual professional skills, learning plans and goals. CPD activities do not need to be endorsed by the APS.
